Our Terms & Conditions 

As we are hiring out equipment there are a few T&C's that come with hiring from the Community Bub, please read through and make sure you are happy & comfortable before progressing with hiring our products.

Please read all our Terms & Conditions as a penalty rates apply if T&C's are not adhered to.

Waves

PRICE INCLUDES $50 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT*

 

Hire includes :-

  • Birth Pool in a Box ( OR La Bassine )

  • Pool liner (not to be returned unless unused in the original packaging) 

  • Electric pump to inflate the pool

  • Two standard tap connectors .n.b.: it may be the these will not fit your own taps and you may have to purchase your own from a hardware supplier 

  • Electric pump to inflate the pool

  • New 15m garden hose (not to be returned unless unused in the original packaging) 

 

  • The pool is to be picked up from Shenton Park or Oakford  as arranged. The pool is then to be returned to the agreed location, clean and dry

  • The pool picked up when you are approximately 37 weeks gestation.

  • The hire is for a period of up to 6 weeks and additional weeks are charged at $20 per week and are subject to availability.

  • Cancellations will be accepted up to 7 days prior to the agreed hire start date and a $25 administration fee will be charged. Cancellations after this point will incur a fee of $50

  • The the full  package fee including the refundable deposit is due in full at the time of collection

  • If you do use the pool and  return the pool liner and hose , sealed in its original packaging $50 will be refunded to you in addition to the refundable deposit

  • The pool must only be used with a liner.

In the event of any of the below conditions, at the discretion of  The Community Childbirth Education and Hire Service, an additional fee will be charged:

​

  • the pool is irreparably damaged, marked or punctured, 

  • cleaning products, other chemicals or oils, or water hotter than 45°C have been used on in the pool to the detriment of the pool material, 

  • the pool has been used without a liner, 

  • the pool has been over inflated and damaged,

  • the pool and/or equipment has been damaged in storage or transit

  • the pool has been used outside and damaged.

 

If any other parts, equipment or packaging supplied as part of the package (e.g. pumps, tap connectors, pool bag) are damaged or are missing, the full retail replacement value of these goods will be charged

 

The Community Childbirth Education and Hire Service accept no liability for accident, damage to your property or personal injury incurred during transit or use of the pool or equipment. The pool and equipment is used at your own risk.
